Hi -I am using PowerPoint in Office 365 and I created a PPT using the font Bahnschrift SemiBold Condensed. This font was provided as a part of PPT when I downloaded Office. I wanted to share the PPT with someone via email, but when I do, I lose the font. I havealready tried to:- Print as PDF (changes font)- Save as PDF (changes font)- Export as PDF (changes font)I have tried to select the option where you:- Make the file PDF/A Compliant- Embedded fonts in PPTs when saving (characters only)I have had no luck - any suggestions?
Hi Gdcartwr,We tried replicating your issue here on our end. Here are some screenshots that we have before and after sharing the PowerPoint file as PDF via Email as well as Save/Export/Print to PDF:We noticed a slight difference with the typographical emphasis of the font after sending it as a PDF. Just to verify, are you experiencing the same change? If not, i t will be better if youcan send screenshots of the changes that you're encountering when you're trying toSave/Export/Print to PDF. In this way, we can further isolate your concern. For more information on how to add a screenshot in your reply/post, kindly check this createdby Shawn 'Cmdr' Keene MVP.You can also share your file by uploading it on OneDrive.
Then, and post it in your reply. If you want to share it privately due to personal information that might be included on the file, you can reply to the private message thatwe've sent.

John Korchok, Production Manager [email protected]. Try this:After exporting the PDF, open it in Reader or Acrobat. In Reader/Acrobat choose Edit PreferencesClick Page Display on the leftLook to see if Use local fonts is checkmarked. If it's NOT checkmarked, Reader/Acrobat will use only fonts that have been embedded in the PDF; if a font is called for but not embedded, a different font will be substituted. It looks like that might be your problem. If it IS checkmarked, it'll use fonts installed on your computer, so should look ok.PowerPoint Help: PPTools: http://www.pptools.com.
